How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

The previous owner of this instrument performed a substantial amount of restoration work on it within the last 25 years to ensure a great playing experience for many years to come. Work included the following:
- New pinblock
- New strings and tuning pins
- All new Steinway action (hammers, shanks, flanges, and wippens)
- Original Steinway soundboard completely restored and refinished

At 5'7'' (170cm) in length, this piano's rich tone and responsive action is found not only in a great many homes, but in many schools of music and conservatories as well. Called the "Medium" grand, there is nothing medium about the sound from this instrument.
Condition notes
This piano retains its original finish which exhibits some areas of incidental wear commensurate with age. These areas are unlikely to dramatically impact the visual presentation of the instrument in most settings. We've priced this piano extremely affordably in light of these purely cosmetic imperfections.
