How large is this piano?
All grand pianos have virtually identical Width and Height. Length is the only dimension that varies dramatically from one grand piano to the next.

Why is Length important? Longer pianos allow for longer strings and greater soundboard surface area, so they usually produce more sound than smaller pianos, but they naturally occupy more space.

This Yamaha G2 5'7'' grand piano is a great opportunity to own a quality Japan-made Yamaha at an affordable price. It's an enjoyable piano to play, with a nice, full tone and even action. Privately owned and well-maintained.
Rare satin ebony finish.
Yamaha pianos feature high-polish finishes almost exclusively - it's extremely rare that we come across one in a satin ebony finish. It's a great choice for more classic interiors and rooms where a high-polished piano would be inappropriate. It's a fantastic musical instrument in a package that is very aesthetically appealing.
The perfect size for the best tone.
Acoustically speaking, grand pianos which are approximately 5-1/2 to 6-1/2 feet in length are almost ideally sized for an even, balanced tone across the entire instrument. Large enough to accommodate bass strings that give the instrument power, volume, and fullness, but not so large that the bass overpowers the treble register. It's optimally sized to give you the smoothest, most even transitions from the very bottom to the top. You're going to love it!
